The Worm Project is a collaborative, creative initiative a group of designers, painters, photographers, animators, and artists, join together to compose a single work of art. Each artist will design one tile, in a different style, and a different technique.
How does it work? Simple:
In the beginning of each round, we will declare a concept, a main theme, that will serve as guidelines to all artists. Each participant will receive in turn a piece of the canvas, which they can design in whatever way they want, with accordance to the theme.
After they send it to us, we will cut a small slice from the edges – 100px – and pass it along to the next participant, so he can incorporate it in his creation. This way we can assure continuity and a natural connection between the tiles.
The idea of a worm project has been around for a while, and you may have encountered it before. We have decided to take it a step forward, and to tailor it to the popular social platforms that we use every day, such as Instagram and Facebook.
